What Scripture says about due diligence?
Proverbs 12:24
We read in Proverbs 12:27: “Diligence is man's precious possession.” Proverbs 21:5 amplifies: “The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty.” Consider these additional words of wisdom about diligence in Proverbs: Wisdom says, “I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me” (Proverbs 8:17).
2 Peter 1:5-7 King James Version (KJV)
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
It is a spiritual virtue and a key ingredient required for success in life. It is the persistent, determined, constant and earnest effort to complete a task. Diligence is the platform for excellence. Until the spirit of diligence comes into play, excellence never becomes a reality (Proverbs 6:6; 1 Timothy 5:6).
Proverbs 13:4 – “The soul of the lazy man desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.” The lazy man desires what hard working people want: house, food, vacations, money for college and retirement. But the lazy man's desires remain unsatisfied, while the diligent gain wealth.
As used in Hebrews 11:6, it means to zealously seek for something with all of one's heart, strength, and might. It conveys the idea of being hard-working, attentive, busy, constant, and persistent in one's devotion to what he or she is doing.
Proverbs 8:17 "I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me." Given his extensive knowledge of both romance and virtue, Solomon knew how many similarities the two shared. These similarities are what birthed the language of Proverbs 7 and 8.
PRAYER FOR THE VIRTUE OF DILIGENCE
May our experience of difficulties and downfall never take our vision from achieving what you desire to accomplish for ourselves, for others and for your Kingdom. And, by your grace, may we find the fruits of salvation which we have labored diligently here on earth.

What are the 3 principles of due diligence?
Below, we take a closer look at the three elements that comprise human rights due diligence – identify and assess, prevent and mitigate and account –, quoting from the Guiding Principles.

The Bottom Line
Due diligence is a process or effort to collect and analyze information before making a decision or conducting a transaction so a party is not held legally liable for any loss or damage. The term applies to many situations but most notably to business transactions.
In Romans 8:18 Paul says, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.” Notice the words “suffering” and “present time.” Christianity does not give us a free pass from suffering.

As to what you want to see, you may have dreams, ambitions, or goals regarding a relationship, your finances, or some plan you have made.
Hebrews 11:6 says that God “…is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” According to this verse, even God rewards diligence. In fact, He only rewards those who diligently seek Him, which means people with a lazy, lethargic, do-nothing, “take-it-easy” attitude will never be greatly rewarded by the Lord.
